There are different jobs in accounts field.

1. Core Accounting jobs
2. BPO jobs.. BPO not related only for call center.
3. Investment banking jobs.

If you want to join Core accounting jobs. Concentrate on Journal entries, balance sheet, p&l statement,Taxation and Excel.

If you want to join in BPO. Concentrate on GL, AP, AR, Excel.

If you want to join in Investment banking.Concentrate on Mergers and acquisitions, stock market, Mutual funds,excel etc..
