A Thermal powerplant uses Thermal energy (heat) to produce Power. The major heat source is coal, the coal is used to boil water and produce steam , the steam is used to rotate the turbains inorder to generate power..

Thermal powerplant is a powerplant that uses steam from burning fuel like coal etc and generates pressureised steam to rote the turbine and there by producing energy .. its poluting the pollution caused by burnig coal is high
